Enhancing the smile's aesthetic appearance can lead to increased self-confidence, improved social skills, and even a more positive outlook on life. Modern cosmetic dentistry merges advanced technology with fine art, and can often produce amazing results in less time than you would expect.
We offer both in-office and take-home teeth whitening treatments to eliminate discoloration caused by consumption of coffee, tea, soda, tobacco, and other staining substances. Using customized mouth trays, whitening gel is applied to the teeth for the appropriate period of time until your desired level of whiteness is reached. Both methods produce brilliant, dazzling results to give you a beautiful, healthy looking smile. Contact us today for more information about our teeth whitening treatments.
Composite bonding is a versatile procedure that can repair chipped teeth, conceal stains, resculpt misshapen teeth, and close gaps. Using a resilient composite resin material that is customized to match the color of your teeth, Dr. Rowe will carefully layer the resin onto the area, curing each coat with a specialized light. Once the appropriate amount of material has been applied, the bond can be sculpted and buffed to achieve the proper shape and texture. When the procedure is complete, the bonding work will look completely natural and indistinguishable from the rest of your teeth.
Achieving an instantly straight, brilliant, attractive smile is possible with porcelain veneers. Porcelain veneers are thin laminates crafted from durable porcelain that are fitted and bonded to the front side of teeth to beautifully conceal discoloration, chips, gaps, misalignment, and other smile imperfections. Enhancing the appearance of one tooth, a few teeth, or achieving a complete smile makeover is simple using porcelain veneers. A variety of tooth shapes and porcelain colors are available to give you the precise results that you desire. With the CEREC system and our in house laboratory Dr. Rowe can sometimes craft these veneers and place them in a single appointment. Contact us for a smile consultation today to find out how porcelain veneers can dramatically improve the appearance of your smile.
It is extremely important that cavities are filled in a timely manner once they have been detected to prevent further damage and the possibility of nerve infection. At Ideal Dentistry, we offer tooth-colored fillings for cavities to keep the repair work undetectable. These resin fillings are strong and keep your teeth looking healthy and beautiful. Porcelain Inlays & Onlays
Tooth decay, weakened tooth structure, need for tooth restoration and reinforcement.
After the decay is removed, your dentist will take an impression of the area to be restored. A dental laboratory works from this impression to create a restorative inlay or onlay, usually out of gold or porcelain, that fits perfectly on the tooth. Inlays cover one or more tooth surfaces, where onlays are used on the chewing surface of the tooth. The inlay or onlay is cemented securely into place, for an incredibly durable, stable tooth restoration. Porcelain is the preferred restorative material; it is extremely strong and can perfectly match the patient's natural tooth color.
Crowns may be the only alternative when tooth decay is in advanced stages.
Teeth that have been damaged by decay or trauma can be restored through the application of beautiful all-ceramic crowns crafted using our state-of-the-art CEREC® 3D machine. After Dr. Rowe carefully removes the damaged portions of the tooth, he uses the CEREC® machine to create a custom fitted all-ceramic crown, which he then bonds securely to the healthy body of the tooth.
Because these crowns are constructed entirely of translucent porcelain matched to the exact shade of the surrounding teeth, your restored tooth looks completely natural. All-porcelain crowns can also be used to improve the cosmetic appearance of your smile by restoring teeth that are misshapen or deeply stained. Porcelain Fixed Bridges
Patients who are missing a tooth or several teeth may experience difficulty chewing and speaking, dental shifts, and an undesirable sunken facial appearance. In addition, missing teeth can eventually lead to jaw and joint problems that are costly to treat.
Porcelain Fixed Bridges can improve chewing and aesthetic appearance, restoring the smile with a more permanent solution than dentures. Bridges replace missing teeth with artificial teeth. Your dentist will take a mold of the gap where a tooth is missing, and then send it to a laboratory to prepare a customized bridge. Before inserting the bridge, the surrounding teeth are prepared. The bridge is set into place and the artificial tooth is securely cemented to the adjacent teeth, restoring the attractive natural appearance and functionality of the tooth that was lost. If a resin-bonded bridge is chosen, the artificial tooth is secured by means of a metal appliance that attaches to the backs of adjacent teeth.
Dental implants are permanent, stable alternatives to bridges that do not rely upon surrounding teeth for support.
